We first met Stephanie Pratt as a fashion student on The Hills, and now the reality star has achieved her dreams of creating a clothing line.

Stephanie has designed a collection of gorgeous evening dresses for Goddiva, which are available to purchase online and ship worldwide.

And the Made In Chelsea favourite chatted to LAGoss.com about the inspiration behind her designs, what’s going on in her romantic life and whether she’s feeling the pressure to have babies.

“I love all fashion, casual to occasion and everything in between but there’s just something so special about evening wear,” Stephanie told us. “I love when you see that transformation, the hair, the make-up and a breathtaking dress. I wanted the range to be timeless, elegant and for women to feel beautiful and confident in the dresses.

“I’m so big on attention to the little details, this is what makes the range have that tailored couture feel. It’s the cut, or adding a beautiful belt, beading detail or lace. There’s so much you can do with evening wear. When I design, I’m constantly thinking about what I would like to wear on a red carpet, what celebrates women, what compliments different sizes.”

It’s a full circle moment for Stephanie, who famously clashed with Kelly Cutrone on The Hills and joked after releasing her range that someone needs to call the cut-throat publicist.

“No one needs to tell her about my line, I can send her the finished dresses instead,” she said.  “An achievement is an achievement and with creating anything you start out with a vacuum until you sit down, get to work and create something that never existed before. It’s great.”

Although some celebrities simply put their names on clothing lines, Stephanie has been highly involved in every aspect of her French Kiss collection.

“I literally design the pieces,” she revealed. “I was approached by many brands to do ranges, but the what I loved about this is that I was able to design it from conception – everything  – I draw the designs, I pick the details, the fabrics, the labels you name it.  It’s been such an enjoyable process and I love every part of it.”

Ready to find The One: Stephanie told us that she is “still on the lookout” for the right guy | Goddiva

And while her sister-in-law Heidi Pratt, Made In Chelsea co-star Binky Felstead and former The Hills co-stars Lauren Conrad and Whitney Port are all expecting children, Stephanie is too focused on her career have babies on the brain just yet.

“I need to find a man first and right now I’m too busy with work to find a man!” she told us, adding that she might need to start creating some clothing for her pregnant pals. “I’d love to design a maternity wear – that would be so much fun!”

Stephanie also revealed that “there’s not much to say” about her romantic life at the moment, but she is hoping to meet someone, sharing, “I’m still on the lookout!”

Since relocating from Los Angeles to London, Stephanie’s style has evolved, and she loves the “different fashion influences” in the UK.

Her collection for Godiva will “hopefully” be the first of many for the beauty, who told us, “We already have the designs ready for my second A/W collection.”

While she’s still waiting to meet the right person in her love life, Stephanie’s career is going from strength to strength both in front of the camera and in the atelier.

“I love creating and producing a clothing range gives you so much scope,” she said. “You start with the overall ‘theme’ or story for the collection, then get to work on individual designs for that collection.

“After that there’s choosing the fabrics, the cuts and finally the finishing touches. I love every aspect of it.  Seeing the finished pieces is always so exciting!”
