Hollywood is still mourning the loss of Bill Paxton, who tragically died aged 61 on February 25th.
Now, the actor’s cause of death has officially been revealed.
According to multiple reports, Bill’s death certificate states he suffered a fatal stroke more than a week after having surgery.

The Big Love star had an operation for a valve replacement to repair an aortic aneurysm on February 14th.
Bill suffered complications from the surgery which resulted in a stroke, and he died at Los Angeles’s Cedars-Sinai hospital.
The beloved actor was best known for his roles in Titanic, Aliens and Big Love and Tom Hanks, Charlize Theron and Arnold Schwarzenegger were among those to pay tribute after his death.

At the Oscars a day later, Jennifer Aniston grew choked up as she introduced the In Memoriam section, saying, “Each and every one was a cherished member of our Hollywood family.
“As was beloved actor and friend who left us just yesterday – Bill Paxton. All were loved, and all will be missed.”
Ginnifer Goodwin, who played one of Bill’s wives on Big Love, almost skipped the ceremony because “it felt wrong” to attend after losing her close friend.
